Island time: the Dutch Waddenisland Vlieland

For me Wyland’s sentences are a perfect capture of my time at the beach. I was so fortunate to spend this weekend at the Dutch Waddenisland Vlieland. Vlieland is my refuge in a hectic life. I wrote about this island before: a blog about what to see and do, about seal trips, about sunrises and sunsets and about the island rhythm that comes natural here.
Eventhough this times visit was short, it still was relaxing and peaceful. Going to Vlieland equals my soul coming home. It gives me the same feeling as when I enter the ocean to explore the amazing under water world. Nothing soothes the soul like a walk at the beach. As always I made sure I saw every sunrise and every sunset. I studied the waves, did my 10k runs at the beach, enjoyed watching my dogs having a great time and ofcourse I visited the seals. I came home fully charged and inspired.
