The Galapagos Archipel has always had a mystical sound to me. A very far away place, sapphire waters, large numbers of animals, miniature dragons. As a child I saw my first 3-D movie about Darwin exploring the Galapagos. I was stunned: the beauty of nature, abundance of wildlife and all those amazing colours! I couldn’t believe a place like that really existed. It just seemed like another world. For years everything about the Galapagos felt beyond comprehension. A place so magical that I never expected to be able to travel there. This year a long cherished dream came true. I visited the Galapagos Islands.
